Profit-taking fails to dent Hong Kong rise

Hong Kong stocks completed their longest winning streak for 13 months on Tuesday as Asian markets resisted a panicky reaction to Greece’s downgrade to junk status by Moody’s.

The FTSE Asia-Pacific index had a fourth successive positive day, although profit-taking limited gains for the regional benchmark to just 0.1 per cent, taking it to 218.99.
